Vincent Van Gogh, born in the Netherlands, is among the most famous and influential figures in Western art.

But during his lifetime he sold just one of his paintings. People would call his work childish with “sloppy craftsmanship”.

Now his artwork breaks records, selling for more than $100 million dollars. He never knew how famous his paintings would become, making this a beautiful story for an artist and creative.

We wanted to pay tribute to his wild, dramatic impressionist landscapes and self-portraits.

It made sense to create a “Love in Dutch” design for him.  We included the fun cliche symbols that Holland is famous for: tulip fields, windmills, and bicycles to give this famous Dutchman a place in Zamforia’s designs.
